The Fabienne Colas Foundation (FCF) was founded in Haiti four years ago. The Foundation was officially launched in Montreal in September 2005.
"Merit comes not from age alone." Although it is a very young organization, the Fabienne Colas Foundation already has many achievements and success stories under its belt. The administrators and partners of the Foundation are all seasoned professionals experienced in organizing, promoting and planning cultural events.

IN MONTREAL
May 2009 - 1st Festiva RiRiRi - Afro Caribbean Comedy Festival that took place on may 24th, at Complexe Cristina in Montreal, in collaboration with Groupe Spectacle SakPase Montreal.
September 2008, 4th Montreal International Haitian Film Festival (MIHFF) with a record 53 feature-length and short films (fiction and documentary), in three theatres, over a five-day period. July 2008, 2nd edition of Haiti on Fire! An Evening of Shows and Movies under the Stars at Théâtre de Verdure (Lafontaine Park) from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The goal of this event is to share Haitian culture with others and promote interculturalism. January 2008, Screening of the film Le Chauffeur by Jean-Claude Bourjolly in the Mirella and Lino Saputo Theatre at the Leonardo da Vinci Centre.
September 2007, 3rd Montreal International Haitian Film Festival (MIHFF), with 35 feature-length and short films (fiction and documentary), in two theatres, over a five-day period. Also: the "Slaves in Paradise" photo exhibition, the "Blood, Sugar and Sweat" symposium, and an awards ceremony.

June 2006, Numerous screenings of Sacha Parisot’s La Rebelle in the Mirella and Lino Saputo Theatre at the Leonardo da Vinci Centre.
April 2006, Fundraising evening under the theme of women’s rights and conjugal violence. The evening was dedicated to Ginoue Mondésir, a young Haitian actress who was murdered on December 24, 2005. The alleged accused was her husband. With screening of the film Le Miracle de la foi.
December 2005, 1st Montreal Haitian Cinema Festival (Weekend of Haitian Cinema in Montreal), with three Haitian films in three days.

Summer 2004, Conference with Fabienne Colas about her career in Haitian cinema (from model to recipient of the Best Actress Award).
Summer 2003, Seminar on Making Speeches and How to Speak in Public, in collaboration with Académie Perfection (fashion and modelling agency).
Fall 2002, A workshop on the Art of Persuasion organized in collaboration with Académie Perfection. This three-day activity was held at the Académie Perfection offices in Pétion-Ville.
